Which devices can my leads or my customers use to chat with me?
Any device can be used for your leads and customers to chat with your team members via Slaask. There is no limitation on devices. As for the OS and the browsers, there is no limitation either. Slaask is fully compatible with all devices, including all mobile and non-mobile operating systems, as well as all mobile and non-mobile web browsers.
How to know which devices my leads or customers are using?
Slaask has the ability to identify some generic information on your leads and customers, including location, language, browser, platform, etc.
When a lead or a customer comes to chat with you for the first time, their information will be automatically displayed. When it is a returning lead or a returning customer (and thus an existing channel in your Slack), you will need to type “!info” in the visitor channel to recall this information.
Thanks to this generic info populated by Slaask, from the field called “platform,” you can easily identify which device your visitor is using to chat with you.
When the platform shows OS X (10.11.5), it means the visitor is using an Apple computer.
When the platform shows Windows (7), it means the visitor is using a personal computer.
