Understanding the "pop-up interface" (sometimes called the “welcome message” or “welcome bubble”).
The pop-up interface
Using the pop-up interface
The pop-up interface is one of the three types of user interface that you have on Slaask.
The pop-up interface is the small-scale version of the Slaask widget.
You can customize it if you would like it to pop up on your website, or not, through your Slaask account (from Slaask.com -> Sign In -> Personalization -> Customize YourWidgetName -> Above the “online mode” section -> “Show welcome message to visitors?”). You can choose Yes or No to enable it or disable it.
The pop-up interface behavior
When you are installing Slaask on your website, you should know that the Slaask widget only pops up once per day per visitor (this is the default Slaask behavior).
This is why it is normal if you don't see your widget popping up again after you've installed it on your website.
The pop-up interface content
The content displayed in your pop-up interface is that which was defined in the section called “Greeting” in your Slaask account. This content is used in your “pop-up interface” and also in your ”Slider type” interface.
Editing the content of the pop-up interface
To edit the content of your pop-up interface:
- Sign in to your Slaask account at slaask.com.
- From the left sidebar select “Personalization.”
- Next, click on “Customize Your-widget-name.”
- Finally, you will see a space to insert or write any message under the title “Greeting” in the online mode section.
