No need to uninstall Slaask during non-operational seasons.
Even though uninstalling/reinstalling Slaask is easy, it is still more practical if you can simply hide Slaask when your seasonal website is temporarily closed for business.
To hide Slaask on your website or your mobile apps, simply:
- Sign in at slaask.com.
- Select the “Personalization” section on the left panel.
- Click on “Customize your widget.”
- Click on the “General” tab and choose “Hide the button” under the text “Load the live-chat but hide the Slaask button,” and then choose “No” under the text “Load the live-chat on mobile devices.”
- Click on the “Offline” tab, then choose “Do not show the widget” under the text “Offline display.”
- Click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
After changing these settings, your Slaask live chat will no longer appear on your site or mobile apps.
To unhide that Slaask live chat widget when you are back in business, simply choose:
- “Show the button” under the text “Load the live-chat but hide the Slaask button”.
- “Yes” under the text “Load the live-chat on mobile devices”. (If you wish to)
- “Show the widget as offline mode” under the text “Offline display”.
Easy and fast to pause/restart your Slaask subscription.
If you own or work for a website that conducts a seasonal activity, we recommend that you choose a Slaask monthly subscription. By doing so, it's easy to pause and restart our service:
- To pause your Slaask subscription/payment, all you need to do is reach out to us via live chat:
- To explain to us that your activity is seasonal and that you wish to pause your live chat activity.
- We will stop your subscription at the end of your current billing period and you will not lose any money during non-operational seasons.
- To restart your Slaask subscription, the only thing you need to do is reach out to us via live chat:
- To explain to us that your activity is seasonal and that you wish to restart your live chat activity.
- We will restart your subscription immediately and you can continue your successful customer communication via Slaask!
- Note: You are entitled to a maximum of 1 pause per year.
